Unlike our private treks, this outing is shared with up to 6 guests, creating a welcoming and social atmosphere while still feeling personal and uncrowded. Guests will meet at Harrigan Centennial Hall before heading out to explore Sitka’s rainforest trails and scenic coastline. The experience includes gentle walking through the Tongass National Forest and coastal areas where you may discover tidepool life, native plants, seabirds, salmon, and expansive ocean views depending on the season and tides. Part of the experience includes enjoying a locally inspired tea or treats while surrounded by the peaceful scenery of Southeast Alaska. Along the way, your guide will share stories about Sitka, the Tongass rainforest, local ecology, and life in Southeast Alaska. This experience is designed to be approachable for most fitness levels and focuses more on connection, scenery, and exploration than strenuous hiking. Price: $135 per person. Tax/fees not included in this price and applied at checkout. ***Please note: Unlike our other tours, this is a mixed group hike with up to 6 people and pickup and drop off is in a central location at Harrigan Centennial Hall in Downtown Sitka.
