Trek Description
Trek Description: The first portion provides views of the Sisters Mountain as it weaves along Indian River where salmon are plentiful in late summer and early fall. You’ll cross over several log bridges and be surrounded by towering trees as the trail heads into the valley. The last mile will have the majority of the elevation gain before it opens up at the Indian River Falls. There will be time to rest, relax and replenish near the falls. Level of Difficulty: Easy/Moderate. Hiking time is about 4 hours. This is a 9-mile trek, though the trail itself is not particularly difficult it is a long enough distance that you will need to be able to walk at a moderate pace for several hours. If you or anyone in your group is not in at least moderate shape this tour is not a good fit. Trail Condition: There are roots, rocks, log steps, and boardwalk sections that can be slippery when wet. Group Size & Age: This private trek can have up to 7 participants and requires participants to be 12 years of age or older. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, a legal guardian, or an adult family member. Meeting Location: This is a private trek and we can pick you up from your location of choice
