This is the full experience! Designed for travelers with more time to explore, this full-day adventure combines the best of Southeast Alaska by land and sea. Spend five hours on the water with your own crew, your own route, and the freedom to venture deeper into Sitka Sound than most tours can reach, paired with 3.5 hours alongside a local guide exploring the Tongass National Forest. With more time to roam, you may reach alpine viewpoints, crystal-clear lakes, cascading waterfalls, and lesser-visited corners of the forest. Your route and pace remain flexible, shaped by weather, tides, wildlife activity, and your own interests. Spend extra time photographing wildlife, follow a pod of whales farther into the sound, or explore remote islands and hidden trails that shorter tours simply can't access. The day unfolds naturally, allowing opportunities for deeper exploration both on the water and on the trail. Lunch, snacks, and hot drinks are provided throughout the day. With a maximum of six guests, this private experience offers unmatched flexibility and access. With a heated vessel, expert naturalist guides, and USCG-licensed captain, it's one of the most comprehensive ways to experience Sitka's marine and forest ecosystems. For guests staying longer in Sitka, the boating and hiking portions may also be scheduled on separate days, subject to availability, creating even greater flexibility during your visit.
