Trek Description

The Journey: A perfect hike for families and groups of all ages! The Cross Trail trail traverses the toe-slope of the mountains along the edge of Sitka and passes through many different ecosystems. Along the route, you will pass through muskeg, forested wetlands, old-growth timber, and second-growth forests, rivers, and streams. Level of difficulty: Easy. The hiking time is about 1.5 hours and about 3 miles. **The cross trail is 8 miles long and there is the option to extend. Please get in touch for a longer hiking option. Group Size & Age: This is a private guided hiking tour and you can have up to 12 participants. For groups larger than 7 people please reach out to request a quote. There are no age restrictions, however, please read our FAQ page for more information on age recommendations and transportation requirements for children under 8 years old. A parent, a legal guardian, or an adult family member must accompany participants under 18. Meeting Location: We can pick you up at your place of choice (your hotel, cruise dock, Airbnb, etc.) Included: Transportation to and from the trail, a knowledgeable local guide, bear and wilderness safety, a light snack, and hiking poles. 1 or 2 People - $175, 3 People -$250, 4 People -$325, 5 People - $400, 6 People - $475, 7 People -$550, (taxes not included).
