The Journey: Explore the wilds of the Tongass National Forest on a 4 to 5-day yacht-supported hiking adventure with Tongass Treks and Equinox Charter Yacht. Experience the best of both worlds with a journey that takes you along some of Southeast Alaska's most remote hikes by day, & aboard a luxurious yacht at night. In this lush landscape, discover three hidden gem trails where you will trek among towering trees to sandy beaches & clear lakes. With our experienced guides, you’ll feel safe and comfortable as we make our way through the remarkable inside passage! The Experience: Along the way there will be opportunities to kayak, have beach fires, set crab pots, soak in hot springs & so much more! We will start the day with breakfast on the boat, before departing for the day's adventure of discovery. There will be picnic lunches at remote wilderness sites & delicious dinners prepared using ingredients sourced from the local area, ensuring a truly unique & unforgettable experience. We can accommodate all dietary restrictions. The Vessel: Equinox is a 65ft custom-built steel trawler that can accommodate up to six guests in 4 staterooms. - A master suite fitted with a queen-size bed & ensuite bathroom, two guest cabins fitted with full beds, & a stateroom with twin bunks. Through a center corridor is a full head with shower, sink & toilet. All cabins are fitted with individual climate control, & skylights provide natural ventilation. The galley is located at the forward end of the main deck and aft of that is the lounge fitted with custom-built leather settees. An open stainless spiral staircase leads from the main salon to the spacious wheelhouse with a sitting area for guests.
